Tubing Conveyed Perforating (TCP)
Tubing-conveyed perforating (TCP) completion techniques enable perforating very long intervals in one run some TCP strings have exceeded 8,000 ft. [2,440 m] in length.
In highly deviated and horizontal wells TCP is the only means of accessing to the perforating depth. TCP also facilitates running large guns and using high underbalance. When TCP is deployed in conjunction with drillstem test (DST) tools, well fluids can be easily controlled. Without having to kill the well, TCP strings can be retrieved (shoot and pull) or left as part of the permanent completion (Integrated TCP).
At Litewell we offer efficient multilateral string completion systems to enable our clients achieve optimal drilling results.
At Litewell, We offer Tubing Conveyed Perforating applications such as:
- Shoot and Pull Operation
- Shoot and Drop Operation
- Shoot and Test Operation
Tubing-conveyed perforating (TCP) guns allow operators to optimize well flow by detonating highperformance, deep-penetrating shaped charges that maximize perforation length; depth and entry hole size.TCP operation may treat zones with drilling, cement or perforation damage and also initiate formation breakdown during hydraulic fracturing.
Litewell provides TCP systems to meet unique client’s needs and well applications.
We perforate with the most efficient string design for your completion type whether temporary, permanent, or workover in all well conditions.
The TCP tool range includes mechanical and hydraulic firing systems, gun releases and under-balancing devices as well as a variety of auxiliary components.
All TCP operations are designed to run with all Litewell Expendable Casing Gun Systems for the best possible perforation performance including:
- Length Safe and quick operation
- Mechanically and hydraulically activated systems available
- No restriction on total system
Achieve maximum production using efficient completion solutions.
Our tubing-conveyed perforating (TCP) services perforate long intervals in simple-to-the-most- challenging environments with excellent cleanup. This more efficient approach improves reservoir connectivity, maximizing production. Future stimulation treatments are more effective and less costly.
Our experts use industry-recognized prediction software to confirm the right clean up solution for your job.
In challenging applications, such as extended-reach horizontal and high-angle wells, our TCP solutions control cost and minimize NPT. In deepwater, our fluid-loss management solutions for unconsolidated formations reduce rig time. Also for deepwater, we offer high-pressure systems, as well as shock prediction and mitigation to reduce risk and Non Productive Time (NPT).
In high-rate gas wells, our high-shot density perforators maximize production from the formation and our gun-anchoring systems for monobore completions enable maximum operating efficiency.
